Product Specialist


Position Summary

The Product Specialist will be responsible for managing all coordination efforts for external product demonstrations including sales meetings, industry conferences, courses, and training events. This individual will be highly organized and willing to roll up their sleeves in order to ensure product demonstrations are well managed and result in a positive customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate master schedule of all external product demonstrations in partnership with Sales, Medical Affairs, and Operations
  • Manage all Sales & Marketing demo assets including tracking, scheduling service of equipment (routine or otherwise), coordination with Operations on shipping logistics, and procurement of replacement parts as needed
  • Onsite support for external product demonstrations including receiving equipment, setup and testing, troubleshooting, event breakdown, and outbound shipping coordination
  • Become product expert to effectively troubleshoot and to provide product demonstrations as needed to support event lead
  • Identify areas of improvement to demo process to maximize resource utilization for demonstrations, courses, and trade-show participation
  • Assist in the development of print collateral and digital marketing assets to support external product demonstrations including but not limited to course brochures, event invitations, online sign-up pages, and minor website updates
  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing function as required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelors in Marketing, Business, Communications or other related field
  • 0-3 years’ experience in Marketing or Event Management, medical device experience preferred
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Sales, R&D, Clinical, and Finance
  • Experience interacting with and gaining input from customers and influencers
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Requires travel of approximately 50-75% of the time
  • Ability to lift heavy objects during equipment setup for demonstration
