Hillel Bachrach - Chairman of the Board
Mr. Bachrach brings 30 years of management, entrepreneurship, investment & directorships in the medical device arena. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Bachrach served as the President & CEO of Orex CR, a Computerized Radiography imaging company. Orex CR was sold to Eastman Kodak in March 2005. Mr. Bachrach was also the President of Odin Medical Technologies Inc., a manufacturer of unique intra-operative MRI systems used in neurosurgery operating rooms. In 2001 Medtronic obtained exclusive world wide distribution rights for the product. In 1993 Mr. Bachrach co-founded ESC Medical System, the pioneer in light based technology and lasers for the aesthetics/dermatologic markets. Mr. Bachrach eventually served as Co-Chairman, Director and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development until 1999. In 1998 the company reached a market valuation of $1 Billion. The company went public on NASDAQ in Jan 1996, and, under new management, changed its name to Lumenis. In the last 5 years Mr. Bachrach, together with other private & VC investors, has helped fund and start other medical device companies where he is serving in varying Board and consulting positions. Recently he took the Chairman of the Board position at UltraSPECT, a medical technology company that specializes in Photon Recovery Algorithm for the Nuclear Medicine imaging modality. Previously he held positions at Candela Laser Corporation, General Electric Medical Systems, and Baxter International. Mr. Bachrach holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Israel and an M.B.A. from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University . |

Peter Fitzgerald, M.D. - Medical Director
Professor Peter Fitzgerald is the Director of the Center for Cardiovascular Technology and Director of the Cardiovascular Core Analysis Laboratory (CCAL) at Stanford University Medical School . He is an Interventional Cardiologist and has a PhD in Engineering. Presently, Dr. Fitzgerald's laboratory includes 14 postdoctoral fellows and graduate engineering students focusing on state-of-the-art technologies in Cardiovascular Medicine. He has led or participated in over 95 clinical trials, published over 300 manuscripts/chapters, and lectures worldwide.
Dr. Fitzgerald has been principle/founder of eight medical device companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. He serves on several boards of directors, advised dozens of medical device startups as well as multinational healthcare companies in the design and development of new diagnostic and therapeutic devices in the cardiovascular arena. Since 2001, Dr. Fitzgerald was on the founding team and continues to play an active role in LVP Capital, focused on medical device and biotechnology ventures. |

David M. Handler - President and CEO
Before joining Corindus, Mr. Handler spent more than 20 years at General Electric. In 2001, Mr. Handler was selected to lead marketing for GE Healthcare's newly-formed Interventional Cardiology business unit, including the cath lab imaging, monitoring and IT businesses. Most recently he served as General Manager for the Global MRI marketing department. Prior to that, he held a variety of sales, marketing and product management leadership positions at GE. He holds a BA in economics from Union College, Schenectady NY and has extensive management training from GE's Jack Welch Leadership Development Center in Crotonville, NY. |

Jeffrey C. Lightcap
Mr. Lightcap is a Senior Managing Director at HealthCor Partners, a leading growth-oriented private equity fund which invests across all sectors of healthcare. HealthCor Partners is affiliated with HealthCor Management, a $3.0 billion healthcare-focused hedge fund. Prior to HealthCor Partners, Mr. Lightcap was a Senior Managing Director for over nine years at JLL Partners, a leading middle-market private equity fund. Prior to JLL Partners, Mr. Lightcap was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. in charge of leverage buyout coverage for the mergers and acquisitions group. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Lightcap was a Senior Vice President in the mergers and acquisitions group at Kidder, Peabody & Co. and briefly at Salomon Brothers.
Mr. Lightcap received a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1981 and received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago in 1985.

Frank Martin
Mr. Martin was elected a director of Corindus in August 2005 and served as CEO from March 2007 until October 2008. From October 2005 to March 2007, Mr. Martin was Executive Chairman of Cappella, Inc, a private developer and manufacturer of cardiovascular stents. From October 2000 to March 2005, Mr. Martin was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Florence Medical Ltd, which developed and marketed vascular blood flow software and hardware systems used to assist interventional cardiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. From June 1993 to June 2000 he was Founder, Chairman and CEO of CorMedica Corporation, a private, independent developer and manufacturer of catheter-based navigation systems for use in percutaneous cardiovascular applications. Mr. Martin has extensive background in the medical device industry having co-founded and managed Advanced Biomedical Instruments from 1979 to 1986 and PLC Systems from 1987 to 1993 (IPO-AMEX). Prior to that, Mr. Martin was with Becton Dickinson and Abbott Laboratories, where he held senior management positions, domestically and internationally, in marketing, sales and business development. Mr. Martin is a board member of several privately held medical device companies with cardiovascular and neurosurgical application. Since February 2001, Mr. Martin has been a board member of NMT Medical Inc (NMTI: NASDAQ), a developer and manufacturer of cardiovascular devices. Mr. Martin has an AB from Boston College , and has completed several executive programs at Harvard Business School . |

Michael Y. Mashaal, M.D.
Dr. Mashaal joined HealthCor in May 2005 and currently is a Managing Director of the firm's private equity fund. Prior to creating the private equity team in mid-2006, Dr. Mashaal was a Senior Research Analyst focused on biotechnology with the HealthCor hedge funds. From 2003 to 2005, Dr. Mashaal worked with Art Cohen and Joe Healey's team at SAC Capital Advisors as a Biotechnology Research Analyst. Dr. Mashaal also served as a Biotechnology Research Analyst from 2000 to 2003 at Paramount Capital Inc.
Dr. Mashaal graduated from Emory University in 1994 with a B.A. in Biology. After receiving an M.D. at State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Medicine in 1998, Dr. Mashaal trained in general surgery at the University Hospital at Stony Brook from 1998 to 1999.
Dr. Mashaal is also a member of the Advisory Council to the Lymphatic Research Foundation. |

Tal Wenderow - Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Wenderow co-founded Corindus in 2002 with Professor Rafael Beyar in Israel and served as the Chief Executive Officer at inception. Starting from Professor Beyar's idea, Mr. Wenderow single-handedly formed Corindus and was responsible for all aspects of development until the Company's series A round of financing in September 2005 when he was elected a director. From March 2007 Mr. Wenderow is serving as the Chief Operating Officer managing all research and development, regulatory, Intellectual property and operations of the Company. Mr. Wenderow holds a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, Israel , and has completed Executive Program for Life Sciences at the Merage Foundation, Merage Business School , University of California , Irvine , CA . |
